Our advice

If you are considering the option of freelance Interim Management, we would be more than happy to advise you whilst making this choice. To start, you will have to take a number of important matters into consideration. Working as an independent entity has positive as well as negative consequences, which all have to be taken into account.

The advantages from working as an independent Interim Manager are manifold.

  • you will be free to work within various organisations and in numerous roles.
  • you will be your own boss and will hence be able to determine
  • you are more in control of your own career development. You will primarily be working in dynamic environments, after all, Interim Managers are usually hired for ‘non-regular’ matters.
  • you will be able to balance your work and private life yourself, for example, by choosing to work 3 or 4 days a week or by choosing not to work for a specific period of time.
  • your work will have a starting point and a conclusion, making it easy to demonstrate achieved results.
  • the earnings are considerably higher than when working for wages.

However.

  • you must not forget that the job market is affected by periodic fluctuations. Ask yourself how you will react if you temporarily don’t have an assignment.
  • clients often have high expectations when hiring an Interim Manager. Hence, you will be in the spotlight more than ever and will have to live up to these expectations.
  • the staff members may see you as a threat. After all, you have come to their company to implement change or to take over some of their work.

If you do not (yet) have a legal entity, we can offer you our pay rolling service so that you can start working.
