MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES * You will support IKEA business through financial reporting services and financial control of IKEA subsidiaries * You will support country finance organizations on the reporting process and with financial accounting expertise * You will work closely with other central finance functions on acquisitions, mergers and structured investments and be the expert for the financial accounting and reporting treatment * You will maintain, review and develop the group Financial Manual, group financial statements and group reporting package * You will support senior management with interpretations on latest financial accounting & reporting developments * The opportunity to become the project manager regarding the implementation of IFRS (this is planned within 2 years) SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * A bachelors/ masters degree in with emphasis on accounting or financial management * 6+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in one of Big 4 public accounting firms and/or multinational real estate/ banking business (technical department experience a plus) * Advanced knowledge of IFRS and Dutch accounting standards (accounting knowledge of financial instruments/ commercial real estate/ consolidation a plus) * Fluency in oral and written English and Dutch * A high level of energy, willingness to take initiative and responsibility, and the ability to work independently * Strong analytical and research skills * The capability to act on a strategic level as well as on an operational level * Excellent communication skills and the ability to share knowledge and learning * The ability to listen, influence and work in a team environment * Cultural awareness and sensitivity * Interest in life at home and home furnishings IKEA OFFERS * A wide range of freedom within this position * Excellent salary depending on work experience * Excellent secondary benefits * 15 - 20% travel * Career possibilities within IKEA Your career at IKEA can start here.
